Mike and KITT are sent by Knight Industries to procure and intercept a stolen high-tech serum called HXP that enhances physical abilities before the thieves can sell it to North Korean buyers.

They have narrowed down the list of suspects and eventually they are able to locate the Galt, the main suspect. Mike locates and corners Galt, and just as he is about to nab him, he finds Galt has not only drank the serum to save himself, worse, he overdosed on the serum and possesses super-human strength. Mike is now on a frantic struggle for his life, and must find a way to capture Galt.
