Then and Now – The Knight Rider

Submitted on October 7, 2009 No Comment

We might not forget when we first saw David Hasselhoff getting into the argument with the Pontiac Trans Am and the theme song also still plays in our minds with the show running from 82 to 86. The good news is that it is not the end of the series, there have been few in the past but there have not been able to reach the level the first one did. What made it so unforgettable? Some people say it was William Daniels. Those people who grew up watching the show you will know him as Mr. Fenie from ABC and the series Boy Meets World so if you think about it, this is the same voice that KITT used to have, hear him say Hello Michael.

The Knight Rider

It was a lovely partnership and unlike a standard cop drama, they both worked seamlessly together and Michael was not much without KITT while like a dog loyal and loving, KITT’s only objective is to watch over Michael and this is amplified when he is able to empathize with his vehicle.
